MINUTES OF 2^ND CIRCLE CONFERENCE OF ALL INDIA ASSOCIATION OF POSTMASTER CADRE, BIHAR CIRCLE HELD AT LOHIANAGAR POST OFFICE, PATNA ON 23-10-2016.

2^nd Circle Conference of All India Association of Postmaster Cadre, Bihar Circle held at Lohianagar Post Office, Patna on 23-10-2016. Sri B.N.P.Sinha, Postmaster Grade-II, Lohianagar Post Office presided over the meeting. Members from various corners of Bihar attended the conference. Sri Sarvesh Kumar, Circle Secretary cum Postmaster Grade-I, Mahendru Post Office, Patna welcomed all the members and in his introductory speech pointed out various problems faced by this cadre at different levels. He also informed the house initiatives taken by Circle association so far.

Sri Ashok Kumar Jha, CHQ member cum Postmaster Grade-1, Jhanjharpur (Madhubani) in his key note address pointed out various issues like need of creation of Postmaster cadre by DOP, formation of AIAPC, problems being faced by Postmaster Cadre, 7^th CPC recommendations, Cadre restructuring , PSS Group ‘B’ examination notified by dop, urgent need of modification of recruitment rules of Sr. Postmaster and recognition issue of AIAPC. He briefed the members in details, initiatives taken by CHQ so far to achieve our goal. He also informed the house regarding holding of 3^rd AIC at Kolkata on 7^th-8^th December, 2016. Members appreciated initiatives of CHQ and quite satisfied with the information shared by Sri Jha. Many members expressed their views on different issues.

Sri Narsingh Mahto, Asstt. Director (P) and Sri Rajdeo Prasad, Asstt. Director (PMU), Circle Office, Patna were kind enough to grace in the open session and encouraged our members. They stressed about unity among the employees for their betterment.

Further house unanimously authorized Sri Ashok Kumar Jha, CHQ member to represent Bihar Circle on all india level. 5 members delegates to attend 3^rd AIC to be held at Kolkata on 7^th-8^th December, 2016 also selected which are :-

House adopted following resolutions :-

i) Every members to stop contribution to other unions if any immediately.

ii) Each members will contribute Rs.100/- one hundred per month hence forth in SB A/c to be opened by Circle Secretary and Treasurer jointly.

iii) If required file court case in CAT Patna bench in consultation with CHQ to get stay on PSS Group ‘B’ examination.

iv) Put pressure on Circle Office for holding of DPC for promotion from PM Grade I to II and II to III.

Meeting ended with vote of thanks given by Sri Birendra Mehta followed by Lunch.
